Training Classes
Classes currently being offered are listed on the left. Click on a class name from the list on the left to see a class description here. Click on "Training Info Page" at the top of the list to return to this page.
Classes are held in our CyberCenter Classroom located in the Activities Center across Texas Drive from the Social Center.
Prerequisites
Before signing up for a class, you should pay particular attention to the prerequisites listed in the class description, and should be sure that you have met these prerequisites. If you have any doubts about this, please contact the instructor.
Computer Club Membership is required for registration in all classes except for the introductory classes: Computer Intro XP, Computer Intro Vista, and Mac-Intro.
To help us plan future class offerings please let us know the classes that you would like to take during the next four months by checking the box after the Class name in the blue panel to the left. Fill in your name and email address in the boxes at the end of the list and click the "Send Class Interest" button. This information will go to the Training Drirctor by email and will be used to help determine which courses will be offered in future months. Your name will not be placed on a waiting list nor will you be contacted when a course is offered.
Text Books
Certain advanced classes may require the purchase of a textbook. If a textbook is required, that requirement will be mentioned in the class description.
Training Class Calendars
Links to the calendars showing when courses are being offered are on the Club home page. Look for the "Training Class Calendar for [Month]" link. The current month and the next month or two are usually available.
Class Registration Procedure
Stop by the Computer Lab to determine class availability and to register. Please pay the class fee by check when registering. For more information contact the Training Director.
Help Wanted
We need Instructors and assistants to teach and to aid teachers for the classes being offered. If you would like to be an instructor one day a month or just help out an instructor in a class, please contact the Training Director.
