MS Word Mail-Merge

Prerequisites:
All of the following (or equivalent experience):
- Computer Intro (or Intro to Personal Computers 101 and 102)
- Windows 1 (or Windows 101)
- Windows 2 (or Windows 102 Files and Folders)
- MS Word Intro (or skills in using MS Word for entering, editing, formatting, printing and saving a document).
If you have not taken MS Word Intro, contact the instructor before registering.
Students should bring to class a list of 10 names (first name, last name, spouse name) and addresses to be used in a mailing list.Course Summary: Use MS Word Mail-Merge to create and print personalized letters, envelopes, or mailing labels.
Performance Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, student will be able to:
- Create a data table of names and addresses to be used for merge.
- Use data in a Word table to set up and print a variety of personalized documents such as form letters, envelopes, or mailing labels.
- Use other database tables as a source for merging.
- Select records based on specific fields (such as specific city, state, or zip code) for merging.
