Course Description:

This course provides a basic knowledge of the Apple Macintosh computer. It begins with a tour of the operating screen. From there, it covers the basic operations that allow you to successfully start a program, locate documents, get assistance when questions arise, and shut down the computer. Specific topics covered include:

•  The desktop

•  Menus

•  Windows

•  Icons

•  Folders

•  Aliases

•  Favorites

•  Trash

•  Getting information

•  The Dock

•  The finder toolbar, and

•  Terminology
