• Computer Intro (or Introduction to Computers 101 and 102)
• Windows 1 (or Windows 101)  

Course Summary

This course is an introduction to the World Wide Web, a typical Web browser program, the wealth of information available on the Web, and a brief survey of security procedures

Objectives

When you finish this course, you should be able to:

• Use Internet Explorer to access the World Wide Web
• Know the components of the IE screen
• Develop some fundamental procedures and practices to insure your computer’s security
• Be acquainted with the main features of the Computer Club Website
• Be able so surf the Web for a variety of resources such as news, computer information, shopping, and travel
