- Computer Intro (or Intro to Personal Computers 101 and 102)
- Windows 1 (or Windows 101)
- Windows 2 (or Windows 102 Files and Folders)
200 or more people in your genealogy computer data file.
Course Description:
PAF Comp is used to print six excellent reports and charts from PAF:
* Family Group Record
* Pedigree Chart
* Ancestor Chart (plus a variation with siblings)
* Descendant Chart
* Register (narrative style for book) Report
* Fan ChartThe Register Report is transferred to a word processing file, where all features of the word processing program may be used to enhance the report. It also creates a full index of all individuals in the report.
To use PAF Comp one must have family data in a Personal Ancestral File [PAF] format. You may GEDCOM data from Family Tree Maker or other genealogy software to PAF. Your instructor can help you transfer data.
