DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

Serves as the Leader of a designated Special Interest Group (SIG) of the Computer Club. Plans, organizes, schedules, and presides over meetings, workshops, and various other functions of the SIG.

Coordinates SIG activities with Officers and Directors of the Executive Board, and with other SIG Leaders, as appropriate. Accomplishes special projects or assignments as requested by the Special Interest Group Director and/or the Executive Board.

REPORTS TO:   The Special Interest Group Director, who provides administrative oversight and policy direction. The SIG Leader exercises own initiative in discharging the responsibilities of his or her position.

QUALIFICATIONS:   Specialized knowledge and or experience in the specific area comprising the SIG. General knowledge of the Computer Club organization and functions; organizational and communication skills; ability to plan and administer the Special Interest program; and skill in establishing interpersonal relationships.
