DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

Assists the Database Administrator with the technical design and programming of the membership database.  Performs a wide variety of functions in support of database development, maintenance and enhancement.  May also independently develop and maintain stand-alone programs such as computer sign-in program for use in the Computer Lab and at Club meetings.

Works closely with the Membership Director and other Club leaders to provide relevant reports from the data collected.  May also provide training to Lab Monitors and other individuals on the use of new or revised programs.  Performs other related duties as required.

REPORTS TO:   The Database Administrator, who provides overall objectives and is available to provide guidance and direction as required.  Within this framework, the Programmer performs duties on own initiative, and sets own workplace.

QUALIFICATIONS:   General knowledge of the Computer Club organization and functions.  Software programming skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
