DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

Exercises assigned responsibility for transporting, setting-up, testing, adjusting, (and operating if required) a variety of presentation equipment used in Club meetings.  Ensures that such equipment as computers, projectors, microphones, and related connectors and cabling is properly transported to and from the meeting place, properly utilized,   safeguarded and secured after use.  May also transport and set-up such other ancillary items as banners, displays, charts, etc., as may be required.

Assists presenters in adjustment and use of equipment.  As required or requested, controls sound and lighting volume before, during, and after presentations, both for the enhancement of the presentation and to provide the best viewing environment for the membership.  Performs other duties as may be necessary and/or required to facilitate effective presentations.

REPORTS TO:   The CyberCenter Director, who outlines overall objectives and provides guidance.  Within this framework, the Equipment Specialist performs duties on own initiative.

QUALIFICATIONS:   Ability to properly and correctly transport, set-up, use, safeguard, and store various equipment belonging to the Computer Club; skill in providing orientation to presenters on proper equipment use; and knowledge of overall Club organization and functions.
