DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Assists the Computer Club President in the overall executive direction of the Computer Club by providing advice and counsel, participating in policy and procedural decisions, and serving as Communications Director.

Exercises oversight and control over the Communications function, including, but not limited to, the Computer Club Web site and all-member communications via e-mail.  Recruits, assists in training, and provides guidance and direction to the Communications staff.  Coordinates closely with the Membership Director in the maintenance of accurate listings of members.  Performs other duties and special assignments as requested by the President.

REPORTS TO:  The Club President, who provides overall objectives and guidance.  The Communications Director is expected to exercise initiative in accomplishing objectives within the policies established by the Executive Board.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Overall knowledge of the Computer Club organization and functions.  Organizational and communication skills; ability to plan and administer Communications functions and programs; and skill in establishing interpersonal relationships.
