for this month's references and tips (along with last month's, and
including a couple of the above items we will discuss this month).
We want to emphasize Q&A on things YOU are interested in, so please send me questions and problems you have or info you want ahead of the meeting, by e-mail.
High Tea refreshments are decaf coffee -- if anybody brings
crumpets, we'll have them too, and thank you! (You get to define
what a crumpet is if you bring some!) We thank Marilyn Holmes and
Michael Evans for their authentic English crumpets last month.
Mac MUG meetings (Mac Users Group): 3rd Wednesday of the month @ 3:00 pm -- go to the Computer Club web site
and click on the Club meeting calendar for the current month.
These meetings usually feature a speaker on a topic that is announced a
few days ahead of time, plus time for questions and answers.
Mac High Tea (formerly Kaffeeklatsch, but then we moved it to the afternoon ...):
regular time is 1st Wednesday of the month at 3:00--4:30 pm in the CyberCenter
Meeting Room.
The general format of the Mac High Tea is modeled after the
Windows Koffee Klatsch that John Polich has been hosting on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of
the month:
- Coffee, starting at 3:00 pm
- Introductions of new Mac users and new attendees
- One or two short topics to be discussed or presented,
usually including recent news about the Mac and its applications
- Q & A: come with your questions, Mac problems, things
you would like to know more about -- we will try to spend 45-60
minutes on Q & A.
