Photoshop Overview
A Demonstration Workshop of Photoshop Elements Features
One, two-hour class
Fee: None
Pre-requisites :
There are no pre-requisites for this class. Registration is required.
Intended Audience:
The intended audience is comprised of Computer Club members who want an
overview of what a photo editing program such as Adobe’s Photoshop
Elements 3 will do. This is intended as a “survey class” for
those who do not yet know if they want to learn about Photoshop
Elements. The class is appropriate for both Windows and Mac users.
This will be a demonstration workshop, with no “hands-on” activity by
the students.
Performance Objectives:
We will briefly demonstrate material from all of the courses taught at
the Computer Club on Photoshop, and will describe briefly what each of
the Club’s classes covers.
After completing this course the student should be able to know what
Adobe Photoshop Elements Versions 3, 4, or 5, and to some degree what
the professional versions of Photoshop can do, so that they can make a
decision whether to obtain one of these programs and whether to enroll
in the Club’s Photoshop 1 class, which is a pre-requisite for all the
other photo editing courses. There will be time for questions.
The class will be held in a meeting room.
