Start Selling

Choose a Selling Format -  start with Auction format

Select a “category”  - brand names and  high profile manufacturers often listed

Title and Description – have your title and description drafted in a simple Word or Text document – I find it easier to copy and paste

Pictures and Item Details

Price -  Starting Bid - How much do you want?

Duration of Sale – 7 day most common – 10 days can cover two weekends
Trivia - Did you know the most Ebay purchases supposedly are made the Monday after Thanksgiving by people who go back to work?

Quantity – be specific – if more than one or a pair of something – add the information in the description

Item Location – can be useful for local shoppers, and in case the item is difficult to ship, a local sale may be a good option

Pictures – have your pictures stored on your computer, so you can quickly “browse” to the file you want to insert in your listing

Gallery picture – first picture - .35 fee for picture to be on search lisitng
