Doug Willoughby will present "A Sampler of Videos by Malay
Sarkar"
Malay Sarkar, a member of our club, has been actively creating
videos for several years. When the Media Conversion project started
in 2004, Malay showed several videos he created. When we saw them
we were amazed at the quality and creativity in them. We will
sample them again along with some others he has created. Come
and be amazed by the talents of one of our members.

The Computer Club's website will be integrated into the Community
Association's portal at the end of March. It will have a brand
new look and feel. In this meeting, the members will be introduced
to the new website. The history leading to the website's revision
and the value of its being on the portal will be revealed and
navigating the site will be demonstrated. Your questions will
be welcomed.

"Are Our High School Students Ready for
Today's Computer Technology?" by Gloria Smith (Jarrel High
School Instructor), 1 PM, April 14
Have you ever wondered how our computer classes compare with
those taught in High School? Are we keeping up with our teenage
grandchildren? On Monday , April 14 our guest presenter will be
Gloria Smith, business teacher at Jarrell High School. She will
bring pictures of her lab and classrooms and tell us about the
courses. There will be time for questions and answers. Plan now
to attend this exciting program.
